Why they are here
One of the 'Three Ws' of Barbadian batting, whose captaincy united the West Indies team across island and colour lines.
Worrell's team toured Australia in 1960-61, including the first tied Test, and was cheered through the streets of Melbourne at its departure. He was knighted in 1964 and died of leukaemia in 1967, aged 42.
